Glenna Piho
Glenna is the Certified School Nurse at the Junior/Senior High School. She has been a part of the Tulpehocken Area School District family since 2006. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Alderson-Broaddus College, Philippi, W.Va. She obtained her PA Certification for School Nursing from Millersville University; Master of Education in Health Education from Penn State University; and her Master of Education in School Counseling from Shippensburg University. Her nursing experience includes working in the Intensive Care Unit/ Mobile Coronary Care Unit/ Emergency Department and the Dover Area School District, Dover, PA. for 11 years as a Certified School Nurse prior to joining the team at Tulpehocken. She is a proud grandmother of 5 grandchildren and loves being with family and friends.

Lauren Oswald
Lauren been the CSN for Penn Bernville for the past 11 years. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Alvernia University and went on to earn her PA School Nurse Certification from Slippery Rock University. She has a Masters in Education degree from GRATZ College. Before coming to work for Tulpehocken, Lauren was an operating room nurse on the open heart team at the Reading Hospital. During free time Lauren likes to spend time with her husband and 2 young daughters, travel, and participate in yoga classes.

Teresa Burns
A native of Philadelphia, I graduated from the Frankford Hospital School of Nursing, Philadeladelphia, PA in 1993. In addition, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Nursing from The Pennsylvania State University and my Certification in School Nursing from Eastern University in St.Davids, PA, currently, I am working on my MEd. In August of 2011 I moved from Perkasie, PA to the Bernville area with my husband John and three daughters, Annamarie, Beckie, and Jackie. I started as a substitute nurse with Tulpehocken not long after I moved here, and was hired for my current position in 2017 as Bethel Elementary’s nurse. It is my privilege to serve our community, and it’s treasure, our children!
