Fast Fact and Figures

  • The Tulpehocken Area School District is located in the northwestern corner of Berks County. It is approximately 45 miles east of Harrisburg, 20 miles north of Reading, and 45 miles west of Allentown. It includes the five municipalities of Penn Township, Tulpehocken Township, Jefferson Township, Bethel Township, and Bernville Borough. The district encompasses approximately 100 square miles.

    Students in the Tulpehocken Area School District are educated in four buildings. The Bethel Elementary School and the Penn Bernville Elementary School are located on opposite ends of the district and educate students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The Tulpehocken Area Middle School educates students in grades seven and eight, with the Tulpehocken Area High School educating grades nine through twelve. There are approximately 1330 students served by the Tulpehocken Area School District.
