Google Classroom is a simple learning environment provided by Google for teachers. It allows our teachers to create their own lessons, post assignments, and more. We only use Google Classroom for TVA courses that are unique to Tulpehocken and/or for students attending the Berks Career & Technology Center (BCTC).  

 

These courses are offered more like a traditional classroom with assigned readings or videos to watch.  Assignments that can be completed online or offline. Students will be invited to join each class by the teacher or Mrs. Kindoll.  Students should check the "stream" for announcements. The assignments are all listed in Classwork. There is also a calendar of upcoming assignments on the left side of screen.

 

Google Classroom allows students to save their documents in the "Drive" area and can be accessed any where they have an internet connection.  There is also an app for Google Drive and Google Classroom which students can download and use on their phones or tablets (iOS or Android).
