About Me: This is my 3^rd year as a Speech and Language Therapist and my first year with Tulpy! I am so excited to be part of the team at Bethel and Penn-Bern this year. Speech and Language doesn’t come easy to everyone, and communication is everywhere. I love being able to help my students tell the world what is on their minds in a way that everyone can understand! During the summers when I’m not teaching students speech and language, you can find me coaching the swim team in my hometown. I strive to bring the same energy and encouragement from coaching into the speech room to make my students just as excited for speech and language as I am! I’m looking forward to an amazing school year, and helping my students be successful communicators.

Name: Jennifer Baer

I Teach: Speech-Language Support

About Me: I grew up in a small town called Athens, Pennsylvania. When I graduated from Athens Area High School, I went to Kutztown University and I studied to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. I also met and married my future husband at KU, Greg Baer. Upon my graduation from Kutztown University, I was so thankful to be chosen as the new Speech-Language Pathologist here at the Tulpehocken Area School District. I took the position, fell in love with the job, the students, my colleagues, and the community. My husband Greg and I had a daughter, Emily and a son, Caden. Emily is now in her 2^nd year of college, studying to become a Physician Assistant and my son Caden is a senior in high school. I love spending time with my family and friends. I love to take pictures, especially of my children playing soccer, participating in the musical, and singing and dancing for ROCS (a special singing and dancing group). I am happy to say that I am celebrating my 24^th year here at Tulpehocken!!

About Me: I have been working for the Tulpehocken Area School District as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the past nine years.  I currently provide services for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 and have a passion for helping our students find their voices!  I graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University and continue to be an avid Nittany Lion fan (We are!)!  When I am not at Tulpy, I am usually spending time with my husband, three children, and our family dog, Francisco.  We enjoy a variety of activities including sports, dance, music, traveling, and swimming.
